The Role

You will be responsible for the wellbeing of all residents within a state of the art Nursing facility:

  • 52 Bedrooms with a mixture of Single and Doubles
  • All Rooms equipped with sophisticated Nurse Call Point Technology
  • A Wet-Room on each floor with Assisted Showers
  • A lovely Conservatory with a Jubilee Terrace overlooking the Estuary
  • Accessible Gardens and Summer House
  • 3 Large Lounges with Plasma Screen Televisions
  • Formal Dining Room serving freshly home-cooked meals
  • Hair Dressing Salon with a visiting Hair-Dresser
  • Visiting Chiropodist
  • Dedicated Activities Staff to organise hobbies, outings and events
  • Art Room
  • A well equipped Staff Room with a Plasma TV and comfortable chairs

Job Description

  • Make sure the physical, emotional and social needs of all residents are met.

Required Qualifications & Experience

In addition to your valid NMC registration as a nurse and the right to work in the UK, you will need to be:

  • RGN, RMN or dual trained
  • Up to date with all areas of clinical expertise
  • Able to show support and direction to other care staff
  • Able to administer medication competently
  • Able to complete and update care plans
  • Able to deal with varying levels of dementia
  • Passionate about providing quality nursing care to the elderly
  • Exceptional communication skills in order to support the people living with us, family members and other health professionals and care staff
  • Exceptional organisational skills
