The Role

You will be responsible for the wellbeing of all residents within a state of the art Nursing facility:

  • 95 Bedded Home with a mixture of Single and En-suite rooms
  • All Rooms equipped with a Nurse Call Point
  • Assisted Shower and Bathrooms
  • Hi-lo Bath
  • Hydrotherapy Pool
  • Restaurant
  • Extensive Activities Program
  • Patio Garden
  • 2 Lifts
  • Mini Gym
  • Hair and beauty salon with a hairdresser on-site most days
  • Library

Job Description

  • Promote individual independence, dignity and respect by delivering the highest possible standards of care to the people living at the home
  • Take responsibility to ensure the well-being of the people living at the home.
  • Make sure the physical, emotional and social needs of all residents are met.

Required Qualifications & Experience

In addition to your valid NMC registration as a nurse and the right to work in the UK, you will need to be:

  • RGN, RMN or dual trained
  • Up to date with all areas of clinical expertise
  • Able to show support and direction to other care staff
  • Able to administer medication competently
  • Able to complete and update care plans
  • Able to deal with varying levels of dementia
  • Passionate about providing quality nursing care to the elderly
  • Exceptional communication skills in order to support the people living with us, family members and other health professionals and care staff
  • Exceptional organisational skills
